Veg Pizza

INGREDIENTS

For Base
2 Cups All Purpose Flour (Maida)
1 Tsp Yeast
2 Tsp Curd
1 pinch Baking Soda
1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
1 Tsp Sugar
1 Cup Warm Water
2 Tsp Olive Oil
Salt to taste

For Pizza Sauce
2 Medium Tomatoes
3 Garlic cloves
2 Red Chilies
1 Tsp Oil
Salt to taste

For Toppings (Any of your choice)
1 Cup Spinach chopped
1 Small Onion rings
3 Button Mushrooms
1 Small Carrot Sliced
2 Tsp Cream Cheese
Cheese cubes or
Mozzarella Cheese

For Serving
Chili Flakes
Mixed Herbs


METHOD
Step 1:
          Pizza Base:
          Mix flour, curd, baking soda, sugar, salt, baking powder, 1 tsp olive oil
          and add warm water as required to kneed a semi soft dough.
          Apply the olive oil on the dough and rest it for an hour.
Step 2:
           After an hour the dough doubles. Take the dough kneed it again to remove the air.
           Take the a medium size dough ball and roll it on rolling plate.
           Take a round baking tray grease it with oil, sprinkle flour and tap out the extra flour.
           Place the rolled dough on the baking tray and spread it towards the edges.
Step 3:
           Pizza Sauce:
           Take a pan, add 1 Tsp oil, add coarsely cut tomatoes, garlic, pinch of salt and
            roast for 2 mins. Cool the mixture and grind it to paste.
Step 4:
           Spread the pizza sauce on the pizza base. Add a layer of grated cheese.
           Mix chopped spinach and cream chesse.
           Top it with spinach mix, carrots, mushrooms, onion.
           Again add a layer of grated cheese.
Step 5:
           No Microwave: Take a kadhai and heat it for 10mins.
           Place a plate  which can fit at the middle of the kadhai and
           place the pizza on the plate. Cook for 20mins.
Step 6:
           Microwave: Place the pizza in preheated microwave at 180 degrees,
           for 20-30mins depending on the type of microwave.
           Serve hot, garnish with mixed herbs and chili flakes.
