Soya Nuggets Biryani

INGREDIENTS

1 Cup Basmati Rice
1 Cup Soya Nuggets
1 Cup Cauliflower, Peas, Carrot
1/2 tsp Sahi Jeera
2-3 Black Pepper
2 Cloves
1/2 inch Cinnamon
1 Green Cardamon
1 Black Cardamon
1 Bay Leaf
3 tsp Butter
1 Onion finely chopped
1 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
1 tsp Red Chili Powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
1/2 tsp Coriander Powder
1 tsp Garam Masala
1 tsp Biryani Masala
 2 tsp Curd
1 Fried Brown Onion
2 tsp Oil
Coriander leaves chopped
Mint leaves chopped
Salt to taste

METHOD
Step 1:
           Boil water and soak the soya nuggets for 15mins. Wash and soak rice for 15mins.
Step 2:
           For marination - Take a bowl & add curd, cumin powder, coriander powder, chili powder, turmeric powder & garam masala. Squeeze some water from nuggets, veggies and add it to the marination. Keep aside for 15 mins.
Step 3:
           Take a cooker, heat oil, add sahi jeera, finely chopped onion, sahi Jeera, black pepper, cloves, cinnamon, green cardamon, black cardamon, bay leaf. Cook till onions turn golden brown.
Step 4:
           Filter water and add rice in the cooker, as a layer on the veggies. Add fried onion, butter, coriander leaves and mint leaves. Add & sprinkle salt as per taste and biryani masala (do not mix). Add 1 cup water and close the cooker lid. Cook till 2 whistles.
Serve hot
