INGREDIENTS
1 Cup Spinach leaves
1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
Black Pepper Powder
3 Tsp Butter
1 Tsp Maida
1 Cup Milk
1 Onion small finely chopped (optional)
4 Garlic cloves finely chopped (optional)
Salt to taste

METHOD
Step 1:
Wash the spinach leaves and blanch it for 5 mins. Let it cool for sometime.

Take a pan and add 2 Tsp butter, add Maida and mix it so that there are no lumps. Let it cook for a minute and add milk. Bring it to boil and cook for 2 minutes.
Step 3:
Grind the Spinach blanched leaves to fine paste and add it to the sauce in the pan. Mix it well and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add 2 cups of water and cook for 2-4 minutes.Step 3:

Add salt and black pepper as per taste.

Optional Step
Take another small pan add 1 Tsp butter, add cumin seeds, onion, garlic and cook it till the onion and garlic are golden. Add it to the spinach sauce mixture.Optional Step
Step 6:
Add fresh cream for garnishing and serve hot.
