Cheese Shankarpali

INGREDIENTS

200gm Maida
2 Cheese Cubes
2 Tsp Butter
Black Pepper Powder
Jeera Powder
Salt
Water for preparing dough
Oil for frying


METHOD
Step 1:
           Take maida in a bowl and add grated cheese and melted butter. Mix well.
Step 2:
           Add black pepper powder and salt as per taste. Mix well.
Step 3:
         Add water as per required to make a soft dough.  Knead the dough, apply 1/2 spoon of oil on the dough and keep aside for 5mins
Step 4:
          Make a log and divide it into 3 equal parts and make small balls.
Step 5:
         Take one ball and roll it into a circle and then cut with the knife to give diamond shape. Separate the diamond shape, cover and keep aside.
Step 6:
         Heat oil for frying in kadhai. Before you begin to fry, add small particle of dough into the oil to check the dough particle comes gradually and steadily on the top, then the oil is ready for frying.
Step 7:
        Add the diamond shape shankarpali into the hot oil and fry. Flip few time to get the shankarpali golden brown.
Serve hot.
